Widow's Harvest

“Widow’s Harvest is a grassroots Americana, folk, and roots music festival held beneath the stars in Plano, Illinois.

What began as a small gathering of musicians and friends has grown into one of the Midwest’s most intimate and beloved independent festival experiences, built around campfire community, late night collaborations, and unforgettable performances from national touring artists alongside incredible regional and local talent.

Widow’s Harvest 2026 will feature roughly 25 to 30 artists across a full weekend of music running from Friday afternoon through Sunday morning, including a brand new acoustic stage, rotating indoor and outdoor performances, onsite camping, food, art, and the kind of magical moments that only happen when great people gather in the woods together.

This year’s lineup includes The Hooten Hallers, Ha Ha Tonka, Olivia and the Lovers, The Fighting Side, John Till, Ben Abney, and many more”

Fox Valley Jammer's Host's Appreciation Night & 3rd Anniversary Celebration

Fox Valley Jammer's Host's Appreciation Night & 3rd Anniversary Celebration

“On MARCH 29th, we’re coming together to celebrate and shine a well-deserved spotlight on the hosts of nearly 40 open mic locations across the Fox Valley—the folks who create the spaces where this magic happens. Without them, many of us would still be playing alone in basements or posting videos into the social-media void. Hosts turn music into connection, and connection into community.
So let’s celebrate what makes each of us unique—and what makes us better together.

SUNDAY MARCH 29th at EvenFlow Music & Spirits (Geneva)
Doors & performer sign-ups open at 3:00pm
Music starts at 4:00pm
We’ll keep the music rolling until ~9:00pm
Full food menu & full bar available.

Everyone is encouraged to come ready to play—and to cheer others on.

How performing will work (please read):
• Each FVJC Host is guaranteed a 12-minute slot on one stage of their choice
• All non-host performers will be selected by lottery
• This keeps things fair and avoids favoritism—no matter when you arrive
• Arriving earlier means fewer entries at that moment, but everyone always has an equal chance regardless of when they arrive.
• There will be two separate lotteries—one for each stage.

Stage breakdown:
• Main Stage: ensembles & open jams (no solo or duo acts)
• SpeakEasy Stage: dedicated to solo and duo performances

If your name is drawn, it’s YOUR time—invite anyone you’d like to join you. Acts will be announced multiple times, up to three performers in advance, so please be ready, tuned, and set to go. You’ll have 12 minutes, and when your set wraps up, we ask that you clear the stage promptly so we can welcome the next act. The goal is to give as many musicians a chance to play as possible—thank you for helping make that happen.

This will be one of the biggest open jam celebrations of the year and an incredible opportunity for local exposure, connection, and community.
Come to support, and be supported. Come to play. Come to celebrate the hosts who make it all possible.
And if you love this community—help us spread the word.”
